This is up on the chopping block as I have something on the way.
For sale is a 2003 Hamer USA Studio Archtop in '59 burst. I'd like to get $1450+shipping, price is firm. I'm not interested in any trades, thank you. Specs can be found here: Hamer Guitars :: Guitars. I'm including a nylon strap and straplocks in the sale.
This guitar sounds, looks, and plays phenomenal. If you want true les paul tone without the weight and thickness, this is your guitar! I actually have used this guitar to play melodic death metal with a friend of mine, and it got a good tone for that as well! It also weighs about 8-8.3lbs, so you can rock out for hours without any problems.
Warm cleans with the neck pickup, smooth leads with both pickups, and a great punch from the bridge - this guitar will cover all of your bases if you set your rig up right.
The neck is not as round and fat as a les paul, and is very comfortable to play. I actually prefer the '59 carve found on some gibson les pauls, which is the reason why I've chosen to go with something else as my main player.
There is one small dent in the binding from shipping or transporting the guitar, which I will photograph and post. Other then that the guitar is in great condition!
The pictures don't do this guitar justice; it is truly an amazing instrument. The materials used and attention to detail make this a true work of art as well as a great tool to create music with.
I've done transactions at GuitarsCanada.com - The Canadian Guitar Forum - Powered by vBulletin, I've only bought on ebay as budda21917, and I've had a couple transactions on ss.org under Budda as well.
I'm in London if anyone would like to come by to see and test drive the guitar.
I thought you were trading this for that custom LP you got?
