I'm wanting to get rid of my ADA MP1 preamp and ADA MC1 foot controller.
I'm sure if you've clicked this you know by now what an MP1 is, but if you don't...80s MIDI preamp, more info can be found on the (admittedly very slow at the moment) ADADepot site adadepot |
The MC1 is the foot controller which works with the MP1, but is essentially just a MIDI controller which will work with anything MIDI controllable.
The MP1 is a 110volt version, which the previous owner spliced a stepdown transformer onto the power cable so that it can be plugged into a standard UK plug. It would be easily modifiable to use the original 110 volt if you wished (hack off the transformer, and splice a new plug on). I don't have any pics of the transformer (but can do once I get home tonight) but this is the MP1 itself
I'd say the condition is decent to good. It's practically in the same condition I got it when I bought it, and has never left my house since I got it roughly a year ago.
The MC1 comes with a power supply. I don't have any pics as its currently at the bands rehearsal room. It hasn't had any use since I got my HD500 (and hence MIDI controlling functions with that). Pretty much same as this though
I'm looking for £200 for the lot. I can split them but would rather they went at the same time. I'd be willing to trade them, but only for either a Marshall 8100, or something equally interesting.
References from Ant, James, and most of the UK crew. I also sold a G Major, DTR1000 and Power Conditioner to Lozek's bandmate so you can ask him for references too if required.
Bump on this, will also consider trading for a MIDI keyboard controller, or one with inbuilt sounds. Depending on the quality would mean plus cash in either direction.
Will potentially trade for other interesting gear, let me know what you have!
