Thumbs up Pair of Awful Sounding Duncan Designed Sevenstring Pickups

$0.00

These magnificent specimens of terrible sounding pickups will no doubt sound terrible in whatever you mount them in, be it basswood, ash, mahogany or duct tape.

However, should you want them for a project guitar, christmas ornament, doggie-chew-toy or otherwise more-useful-than-producing-tone purpose, pay for shipping and they're yours.

I'd post a pic, but if you close your eyes and imagine black pickups with the words "Duncan Designed" on them emitting flat, lifeless tone, that's basically what they are.

If nobody scoops up this fantastic deal, I'm going to mail them to Dave anyway.

Are they worse than a JB?

Is it a DD JB/59 combo? If it's a JB, I want it as a possible candidate for a Wolfe rewind. I think Dave said he can rewind those... I'll have to check.

If you removed a JB/59 combo and replaced the JB with a rotten banana, and the 59 with a log of partially fossilized Noodles poop, the RB/NP combo would sound better than these pickups do.

If you want them they're all yours, I'll include something special for the blown-to-fuck tube in the 2101 that you sold me.

Note: If people want to mail Dave something ridiculous in return for the pickups in question, I am open to using that as an alternate payment method.

Yes. I have a pair in my Evo 7 and they make a JB-7 sound well-defined and clear on the low strings.

Too much focus leads to tunnel vision
Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

^ And that's not an easy thing to do.
