Had a great time there this weekend with my girlfriend. Stayed at a Holiday Inn in Logan Ohio, got there on Friday night, chillaxed in the hot tub, yada yada. Got up early Saturday, had a great breakfast, bright and early, ready to go! Nature Bob, yeah!
First place, Cedar Falls.
They call it Cedar Falls because the early settlers thought all the trees around there were Cedars. Stupid fucks! They're Hemlocks! (I knew 'em right away. Those losers shoulda had Dirr's handbook.)
Next place was Ash Cave. (More of a huge cavern, really.) Damn, I wish these pics could be bigger.
From up at the top. I'm reaaaally afraid of heights. Sucks. But I sucked it up like a champ, for you, my viewing audience.
Some really old carvings in the sandstone. There's a big '1869' date on there.
Next, Old Man's Cave, which is a smaller series of caverns, still pretty big. More like a magical castle or something.
And here's a few random pics from some of the other places we went.
This one was nifty. A spot where river stones had bored a hole through the underlying rock from all the years.
Holy shit dude, that place looks awesome!
And this pic rips!
Side note: Is the album size on the site's hosting boning you? If so I can jack it up for ya.
