Anybody read it?
I think it's the definitive Gen X (graphical) literary masterpiece. Irreverent, questioning, cynical... Yet hopeful, darkly humorous (Arseface ), apolitical, conspiratorial, practical, and beautiful. As an avid comics fan I'm disgusted to have only discovered this this year, but on my second read through. I think Jesse Custer maybe the greatest fictional hero/anti-hero ever created.
Scared as shit about the TV show. I ripped the trailer to shreds on YouTube. Looks horrid, but I'm probably too much a fan to not at least try it.
Anyone else? Thoughts?
Read the entire thing about 4 years ago. Great stuff. I need to get my own copies and re-read it.
