    "Darkmatter" anyone?

I had never heard of this series before they added it to Netflix. I have only watched two episodes but seem pretty good so far, anyone else watching?

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

Yeah, I watched the first series. It's pretty cool. Nothing amazing, imo, but I enjoyed it and will certainly keep following it if it keeps the same entertainment value.

    • Whiny guy is annoying
    • Seven of Nine ripoff is bland and unimaginative.
    • Angry guy is as cliche as you can get

I could go on, but all the characters start out as unimaginative rehashes of cliches you have already seen in other shows.
But still.. something kept me coming back.

I think that if you can look past shoddy writing/bland characters and you get to the part where they get the inevitable "complicated" backstories in the open and actually start using those to write compelling stories it's not a bad series. They actually put some twists in the story which managed to keep me watching.I watched S1 and enjoyed it, especially the last few episodes.

Also check out the Expanse, same kind of dark Sci-Fi but much better.

I found it entertaining. As I did for Killjoys which is a bit less serious about itself I suppose. Either way, looking forward to the next season(s).
