Gentleman Bastards Book #4: The Thorn of Emberlain

This has been pushed back so many fucking times. It was finally supposed to be released Sept. 22, but they announced that wouldn't happen yet again. Bullshit. That was like, the third delayed release date.

Nonetheless, it's supposed to be soon.

The many delays and completely different direction of the third book kinda put me off. I might read this one, or might just try and pretend the series was one great book with an ok sequel!

Lynch is likable enough (and honest with his fans) that I don't really mind waiting for his books. Love me some Bastards.

Rothfuss, on the other hand, can fuck right off.

It says George R.R. Martin somewhere on the cover. Is anyone surprised it's late?

    Great series name, though.

The worst wait is Dresden Files.

I read this instead, since I hadn't read anything new in a while, and it was pretty awesome.

I'll read the third Kingkiller Chronicle, but that series is very Young Adult-esque anyways.

My current pet hate book wait is the latest from Ben Aaronovitch - It must have been delayed by over 18 months now and I just want to know what happens next, dammit!

Wait, how did I miss the 3rd Gentelmen Bastards? Last I read was red skies over red seas
