^ It's because of the bluntness. Surprising, even though it probably shouldn't be

Saw it yesterday, easily the best Marvel movie so far. Perfect mixture of everything, and Whedon did a god damn spectacular job of it. Want to see it again.

"I just kind of go with that and go like, 'That was
cool. You know what it needs? More!', and then when
I'm done with putting more on I go, 'Yeah, that
sounds great. But you know what would be even
better? That's if I put more in there.'"

Was pretty good. Think I liked the first iron man a bit better. (just a tiny bit) Did have some pretty funny scenes in it

T H A N O S I didn't see Thor but I guess there was a shot of the Infinity Gauntlet in it so I kind of figured Hew would show up eventually.

A lot of favorite parts, but:

Spoiler
the Hulk beating the shit out of Loki was pretty awesome, and the one-liner of "puny god" was cool too.

Also, while Cap is arguably one of the "lower powered" heroes, I love the part where the cop goes "oh yeah? Why should I listen to you?" when Cap's telling him what to do, and then Cap proceeds to lay out multiple aliens in succession.

It was nice to see that they still made him a badass, even though he's not as strong as some of the others. Also, the fighting touches, such as when Stark bounces a beam off of Cap's shield were friggin' awesome.

Pretty fucking awesome. Can't wait for the 2nd installment!

Spoiler
I was surprised the Hulk character wasn't as cheesy as I was expecting him to be. I never saw those movies, and heard they were pretty terrible, but I thoroughly enjoyed the Hulk's involvement in the story.

I'm not a huge comic book fan, but I just saw this movie and was thoroughly impressed. Holy shit! I'm not sure if I have ever seen a movie that was able to do decent character development, while keeping the movie action packed, and building up the plot! I mention character development only because I am not an avid comic book fan, and while I recognize the characters, I do not know much of their backgrounds.

It was certainly the first time that I have ever seen a 3D movie, where I was not pissed off that I spent $13.50 to see a movie. Well worth it in my opinion!
