I've been re-watching Seasons 1-4, (it helps, trust me) in preparation for this. Figured by the time I'm finished I can watch Season 5 without waiting lol.

The writing, casting and performances in this series are all brilliant and inspiring. I'm not a fan of television by any means, but show like this and Game of Thrones are just too good to ignore.

I was normally not a huge television fan, but with all the insanely good offerings from HBO, AMC, Showtime, and even some of the networks, the crap Hollywood is churning out these days just sucks in comparison.

What really makes this sad is hearing the producers of Game of Thrones talking about how much better the battle of Blackwater episode could have been, if only they had a Hollywood sized budget.

Can't you see the writing in the air?

Noodles. Watch this show. All of it. now.

Seriously, my girlfriend and I started watching it a while back and got hooked bad. Just finished season 4 last week and ready to watch properly, as it airs. Season 4 might be the best season of a TV show I've ever seen.

Not to, you know...hype it up or anything.

I agree. I can say with complete 100% honesty that Season 4 of Dexter and Season 4 of Breaking Bad are the most enjoyable and superbly executed pieces of television I have ever seen.

Agreed 1000000%.
John Lithgow as the trinity killer was a master performance.

Ever see Raising Cain? Lithgow is an amazing actor who plays a completely deranged psychopath that slowly unravels.

Cant remember. The name sounds familiar. He is one of the few actors that can run the gamut of emotions in any movie and still be convincing. Amazing actor.

Oh, you'd remember if you saw it. It is completely fucking warped, and Lithgow plays a guy with four personalities fighting for control. It's almost funny at times.
