A guy comes into my workplace today, and tells me his woman friend somehow spilled Tequila on his 3 month old Blackberry Curve while out at the bar, while it was attached to his belt, underneath his shirt.
Powers on, but no buttons work. So $800 later (He also bought a Bluetooth headset) he's back in the crackberry game. Though he lost a couple hundred contacts, because the USB jack didn't work anymore either, so I couldn't transfer them (couldn't bluetooth them either because as I said, buttons stopped working)
Moral of the story: when out at the bar, blackberry goes in pouch, and then in jacket/pants.
Point of the story: None really. But I haven't made too many posts on here. And I like blackberry's.
Another customer gave me his blackberry.
Came in, had a corrupted OS, and I told him i'd fix it for him and call him by the next day, since he was out of his warranty period.
I call him the next day, tell him to pick it up whenever, and he tells me he canceled his service, and that I can keep his Berry myself since I offered to fix it for him and not charge him for it.
Bonus. Now I have 3.
That's my post for the week.
$800 for a Curve and a headset?
