oh shit it's big, I better back up a bit
Ok so it's not that big, most of you have 24" or bigger monitors but I have been using the MBP as my primary computer for years and before that it was an Acer laptop so having a 24" display is awesome
It's a refurbished 3.06 GHz model so I got it for a nice price and I think it's fucking awesome. It was not without teething problems however it had nothing to do with the iMac. Yesterday I practically stalled it, when I finally opened activity monitor I noticed WindowServer was running the CPU at over 99% I thought fuck I'm going to have to send this thing back. A quick check on the Apple support forum (from my MBP) revealed that it was a common problem not limited to any specific Mac, by the end of the thread it was clear that everyone in the thread was running the CoolIris plugin in Safari on Leopard. Since uninstalling my favourite plugin I have not had a problem, I might have to use Firefox if they don't sort it out soon but the CoolIris mob seem to fix bugs lightening quick so hopefully I will not need to.
It's my first experience with Leopard and now I regret not upgrading sooner, Leopard rules and so does my new iMac
Nice. I like the 2027 too.
