    Talk to me about GPS

    I've decided I need a GPS unit - sick of being almost-lost

I want something that I can mount in the car, on my motorcycle, and probably carry handheld as well. I want it to be sturdy, reliable, and well-supported. I want to be able to interface easily with 3rd party software and things like MotionBased | Home, etc. Which brands/models should I be looking at? I'll be using it mostly for driving, but it will get occasional use while hiking (somehow I never get lost while hiking, but I can get lost 2 miles from home in a car)

I've got a Nuvi for the car, but I'd never use it on my bike unless it was to just pull out of my tank bag because I was lost. Way too distracting.

Got Rachel a Garmin nuvi 780 for X-mas last year.
    She loves it.
I do too! It lets me run handsfree in her non-Bluetooth car.

Garmin nuvi 205 that I really like though I'm not sure how well it would do on a motorcycle.

Garmin Nuvi 360 for me, 350 for my mom, and 680 for my dad. No problems whatsoever.
