...Runs surprisingly good on the computer that I thought was toasted
So, I run my machine to this local computer joint, the guy sets it on it's side, plugs it in, and it powers right up. Fuck. So, it's running again, but it let me know that my shit is outdated, and I'm failing as a nerd with it in my employ.
On topic, I'm running my Linux Mint LiveCD, and it's running pretty good. Everything works right out of the box, even the javapig chatroom
So anyways, the lazy bum at the computer store hardly helped me at all. He showed me some power supplies, without really diagnosing what my problem was. I started to mention that I was thinking about building a new machine, and that I'd like to keep my harddrives... and he didn't even pitch me anything. Usually you get the, "Oh, we've got this motherboard, and that graphics card, blah blah blah..." Nothing. He just stood there, and handed me a brochure with their prebuilt systems.
And, I was the only one in the store. Lazy bastard
But anyways, Linux Mint looks pretty nice!
Told ya so.
