    Quicktime is driving me crazy...

So I update iTunes the other day, and now every song or video link I click on with Firefox opens with Quicktime, and it's driving me nuts.

I'm running Vista, and I have Windows Media Player set as the default for everything, I have disabled Quicktime from being the default for anything, and I have set in the properties tab in Firefox for it to use Windows Media Player, but STILL Quicktime opens for everything and it's bugging the shit out of me.

I tried to uninstall Quicktime, and then iTunes wouldn't work...

    Any ideas?

I have googled and googled and I can't find something to fix this.

Well, I figured it out (well, not really, but I got it to work...)

I went into Firefox properties, and eventhough Windows Media was selected as the default, I changed it to Quicktime and closed it. Then I opened it, changed it back to Windows Media, and closed it.

Opened it back up, and it works now...

Quicktime is really fucked up. I've always hated it, but now I hate it even more.

Windows Quicktime is hilariously stupid. Which is funny, because OS X Quicktime Pro is unbelievably useful. Well, except they took out most of the features in Snow Leopard unless you download the older version too.
