Is this possible?
I need to set a server up to pull through a one-way diode - basically a server on one network needs to get data from a server on another, without ANY packets going from server A to server B - it needs to be completely pull-only.
Should be doable with something like Oracle, but I've no idea if I can do it with MySQL.
The only thing I can think of is linked servers in MSSQL, but you are going to be hard pressed to be 100% one way. TCP/IP requires acknowledgements in order to make sure the packets arrived.
