Staying under $200
I'm more of a quality over quantity person, especially in the Electronics department. I'm looking at this Samsung monitor (Samsung - 20" Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD Monitor - P2070) from Best Buy which is just a smidgen under the $200 range but it's Samsung who are top notch in the electronics.
I'm going to Best Buy in person to check more out as well but that's one that caught my attention while browsing through the Sunday ads. There's another one very similar to that just with a 5m/s response and some minor differences I believe that's twenty bucks cheaper too.
Anyone have suggestions for monitors?
Edit : this one is also a little bit cheaper, but also made my another top-notch (in my book at least) brand LG
Spend a little more and get one with LED backlighting, especially if you're into quality vs. quantity.
LED backlighting is brighter, more even across the display, consumes less power and lasts longer than the older-style CCFL backlights, which generally look crappy after a few years.
