Renting it this week. Once I got past the very Japanese art style, writing, and story setup, I found a seriously intense brawler. This game is tricky, and this is coming from someone who put in the time to beat Ninja Gaiden I and II.
Really, really fun though. When you get it just right, it's a fantastic feeling ripping weird angel-things to shreds with katanas, shotguns, high heels, and your own hair. To give you an idea, it's the only third-person action game I've played in ages where I will immediately go back and beat a level again upon completion to try to get a better rating.
Still only at the fourth level, but already it's pretty freaking awesome and I haven't unlocked half of the weapons yet!
Atrace just got this today, so I'm going to rip through it when he's done with it. I can't fucking stand the art style, the uber-super-duper-j-pop theme or the obnoxious music, but from what I hear the combat is pretty sick.
