Most of ya'll prolly never heard of this guy. Basically he's pretty famous for his works in the videogame industry.
He's pretty much an undocumented father of it alongside the more popular Shigeru Miyamoto. Back when arcades were all standup boxes, he invented Hang On, Space Harrier, and OutRun which featured sit-down moving chairs.
He also first brought 3D games into the arcades as well (details of this are way cool in the article)
I spent many of my teen years playing the shit out of Space Harrier for Sega Master System and OutRun. And I've played through Shenmue I and II many times. It's great to see an interview of him popping up out of nowhere.
