So, my mom bought a brand new Kindle and is really enjoying it, but part of why she bought it was she wants a bunch of her own files on there to have with her (she's a ventriloquist, and wants to have her scripts with her, as well as her brother's a writer, and she's reading his latest novel). The novel's already in .pdf format so I got that on there no problem, but her own files are all .rtf format. And there's 235 of them. So...
1) Is there a way to batch convert all of them to .pdf?
2) Is there a way to organize files into folders on the Kindle?

Use the Automator. Almost guaranteed there is a "print to PDF" function for documents
Provided she has Mac access. If she doesnt, email them to yourself, and convert and send back
