My bulk storage drive (media, downloads) just took a shit (Win7 reported a disk error). First time that's happened to me since my drive was a 40MB Maxtor.
It might be fine, but I'm replacing it out of paranoia, transferring everything, and then running CheckDisk on it a bunch of times. If it fails again I think it's under warranty.
Recommendations? Was a 750GB Western Digital, with whom I've always been happy. I might also snag an external for backup, recommendations on that too? Lookin' at you, Quigs.
This looks pretty pimp for the price, any reason I don't want it? Powered through USB.
