Im doing reasearch on these myself, but if anybody here has any suggestions, theyre certainly welcome.
Things i need, and preferred prices.
Looking for about as nice of a gigabit router as i can score for under $300
Must be supported by DD-WRT. Basically, trying to get the most powerful processor i can in the router, and better other specs are a nice plus. Must run wireless N, and have 4+ ethernet ports. Something thats not going to go out of date (read, will be current, not just sufficient) until at least the end of the year.
10Gbps Ethernet NICs (cx4). Under $500 a piece would be awesome, but the real line is at $1k each, unless theyre something super super stellar for the price.
Edit: No router needed, CX4 doesnt even need a crossover. win
Thanks a ton guys
If you're going nuts with 10 gig don't even bother with a piece of wireless shit with dd-wrt, get a real PC and stick pfsense on it and get a good N access point.
+ usb flash drive
will absolutely blow the pants off of any all in one
