1) Final Fight: Double Impact. An HD remake of an old side scrolling beat-em-up game. It is available for digital download on PS3 and Xbox 360
What people didn't know is that you HAVE to be signed into PSN in order to play the game. Nowhere was this mentioned before buying the game.
Result: pissed off everyone who bought it
2) Bionic Commando Rearmed part 2
Same as above BUT at least it warns you in the description before you buy it. Also, there's NO Multiplayer option....
**Oh yeah PSN was down for quite some time recently, so the owners of the above two games weren't playable AT ALL
3) Are You Ready? Fight! SSF4:AE DRM WTF | Rock, Paper, Shotgun
If you arenít signed in to an online GFWL profile, the offline mode has limited functionality. Obviously thereís no online play, access to replay channels or other online-centric features (and this is the part that keeps the online play secure from hackers or pirates). Additionally, you wonít be able to save any progress in challenges or settings, wonít have access to any DLC youíve purchased and all local play will be restricted to 15 of the 39 characters.
I understand that this is all because of piracy, but this is hurting the non-pirates... THANKS CAPCOM, I'll save my money and buy other games.
