Amy is Survival Horror Evolved, Coming to PSN This Summer – PlayStation Blog
The footage in the video doesn't show gameplay, but I think it's an awesome example on how far videogame technology has come in terms of graphics.
With past systems, it was obvious that graphics will get better over time. With the systems of today, it seems like it would be really hard to topple them. They're not just 8-bit blocks or jagged polygons anymore.
As for the game itself, it seems to early to say that I want to play it for sure, but I'm very intrigued so far.
Graphical ability doesn't wow me like it used to. I can go back and play Super Metroid or Final Fantasy 6 a thousand times, and still be immersed in a colorful world with unmatched atmosphere more so than games with super fine detail and and near photo-realism.
I'd rather see gameplay than tech demos.
