I have a Dell SC430 my boss tossed my way when the shop closed in february. It came with a measly 1gb of ram, For my needs (host files and running minecraft) it managed, but I wanted to upgrage (minecraft was toppping it out pretty hard). Processor is fine.
So, i need ECC 4200E sdram. I was looking around, and i found a good deal on 4GB (maximum supported) on ebay, but its pc24200F, not pc24200E.

By my estimation this should work. Seems the only difference is the timing/CAS, which i never had an issue with when i was pc building.

So, should that work?
What you listed is not ECC (Error Correction Code) which... corrects errors! I've not heard of machines not-running with non-ECC ram, but it's a nice feature to have. Should work since it's PC4200
