Looking at this thing, I've been interested in the robot vacuum phenomenon for a while now, because 1) robots are fucking cool, and 2) robots that do chores for me are Really fucking cool. Now, I don't have any carpet in my house, my living room and two bedrooms are hardwood floor and the kitchen/bathroom are tile. What I want to know is do these robots Really get the job done good, or are they cool, but don't clean good enough to fork out the cash for them. I'm interested in roomba stories as well, but this one is a bit different as it uses cloths and swiffer type pads to clean rather than vacuuming. Its also square and uses a devices to map out each room like a mini GPS instead of randomly bumping into things (like the Roomba) so in theory it should have better judgement of rooms and also clean faster than said Roomba.
