I picked this up on the 4th, when it was on sale for $0.99 (regular price $6.99).

Not bad... Graphics can't hang with Infinity Blade, but IMO the gameplay's better. It feels a lot like a cross between Diablo II and Zelda, somehow. Not exceptionally difficult (as long as you do the subquests none of the main quests are too hard to take), but an effective story line, fun gameplay, and great graphics. I didn't exactly time myself, but I'd say a complete playthrough as a Mage class took me something like 6 hours, and beating the game unlocks HArd, and after Hard then Heroic, modes, so that and three classes plus two specializations per class means replay value isn't too bad.
Controls are pretty straightforward - you can navigate by tapping or with a "virtual joystick" which at first is a bit clunky but once you're familiar is still far from perfect but easily the most efficient way to move around. You have three tappable "skills" at your disposal, plus a magical attack from one of the (eventually) five fairies you can collect at disposal.
For 99 cents, a no brainer. Regular price is a little harder to swallow, but worth grabbing if it's ever on sale again.
Another review, pretty fair IMO:

All in all, not bad at ALL for a phone.
