...is from my brand new PC!
Actually, it's not. It's from this really slow piece of crap at work, haha.
But I've played around with the new one for a couple of days now and it's so responsive it almost brings a tear to my eye. I double click an icon and the program is just up, like it's running already. I love it!
I am however a little bit disappointed in the gaming performance. The first thing I tried was Crysis at the 'very high' setting. And it wasn't smooth, had to go down to 'high' and turn AA down from 8x to 4x. Fuck that!
Although it is still one of the most demanding games out there (maybe after metro), it is from 2007! I thought a pretty competent computer today would have no problem running it maxed out.
Took a look at the CPU and RAM usage while I was running the game too, and only 40% and 30% was used, hrmf. I did choose the cheapest graphic card of what I could choose from though, so I guess that's the bottleneck.
Ended up with the specs in the first post here btw.
Anyway, today I'll pick up another GeForce GTX 560Ti to run in SLI, I'll also get another 6gb of ram while I'm at it.
That should do it!
