So, I've tried removing Chrome for the past little while and it won't. fucking. uninstall. I googled "Removing Chrome from Mac" and it seems like there's more to just dragging the icon into the trash which would normally prompt the "Hey this won't uninstall it, do you want to do that? If so, go to the control panel." But instead, the icon just drags itself back out and right to the place where it was before. I deleted the actual download file as well, but I don't know how the fuck to go into Mac's version of the control panel to remove any other files.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Edit : Also, the other big thing that annoyed me was it claimed "Google Chrome Helper" is in use, and the reset for that was just a restart and saying not to reopen the windows. However, it still doesn't allow me to uninstall.
It's doing you a favor. Just accept it.
Chrome Helper however, is a fucking piece of shit. It randomly just decides to hog 98% of my CPU every now and then.
Anyway, have you tried deleting it through the Terminal instead?
