My new LG LED/LCD is fucking awesome, don't get me wrong. It's 3D, does DLNA, has built in Wifi, and all sorts of bells and whistles. Gaming on it is amazing - it's the best TV I've ever owned.
That said, I'm having a hard time getting used to the picture quality. I have two other HDTVs that are midrange Samsungs, but on this one it's almost that the picture is too damn real. I don't see Captain Dan, I see Gary Sinese reading some lines. It's ridiculous. I'm watching Inception and man, it's almost killing the vibe a bit because that "movie glow" isn't there - it's just way, way too real looking.
Anyone else have this problem?
But seriously, are there any presets? Like, cinema, theater, sports, etc. The fiance's TV has a few, but we generally have it on cinema.
