My contract is almost over with Verizon and i'm thinking of switching since Verizon doesn't have unlimited data anymore and Sprint is a bit cheaper than Verizon as well. Found a good deal through wirefly to get the Galaxy II Epic for $79 looks pretty sweet, giant screen (big plus for me), front facing camera, dual core processor, 8MP back camera. Seems pretty win to me. Anyone that has this, how is the battery life? Smartphones don't have great battery life but as long as it'll last all day i'm happy.
My decision is either going to be switch to Sprint and grab the Samsung, or stick with Verizon and grab a Droid Razr...which is a bit more expensive at $199 and as I said i'd be coming out cheaper plan wise by going with Sprint. Their service seems good here, I know a few people that have Sprint and they say their service is great here so that's not a concern.
I've got the Galaxy S II X (Canadian variant) and it's a killer phone, I'd recommend it to anyone. Battery life was "decent" from the start (that big screen and dual-core takes a lot of juice) but greatly improved with Juice Defender installed - I get 36-48 hours of life, and that's with a good amount of talk/text/browsing/screwing around.
