I have 2 2TB drives setup as a spanned volume (I know I know...) and one of the disks is starting to fail. It's not that bad at the moment, but I notice some files are unable to copy to another spot, or I get CRC errors on torrents.
I have a replacement 2 TB hard drive, and I tried using Ghost and Acronic True Image to clone the disk to another disk, unfortunately, both of those don't recognize the volume, since it's only half of it...
My question is is there a low level clone utility that will just clone whatever the fuck is on the old disk and put it on the new one without worrying about volumes and shit? I just want an exact copy so I can pop the new drive in and have it replace the old one.
Found a utility called HDD Raw Copy so I'm doing that right now. Won't know if it works until I go home, but there's not much in the way of reviews online about it so I dunno.
