So, I can apparently get an iPhone 4 on upgrade with a loyalty discount for about $70. I'm just a bit conflicted about liking one. No doubt they are awesome devices but I really dislike iTunes and that whole thing.
The only Android phone right now that is really appealing to me is the Samsung Nexus S, and it is quite a bit more expensive. I like the Android OS and the wide range of hardware choices but I have been getting more and more annoyed at the OS fragmentation. I don't understand why all Android devices are not running ICS now. I am also a bit frustrated with the lack of accessories (mainly for my Galaxy Tab 10.1 which I love otherwise). When I walk into Best Buy there's a huge assortment of different things for the iDevices but virtually nothing for the Android stuff.
ICS doesn't seem to be what Google has promised, and that is frustrating
I'm not a huge user of tons and tons of apps. I just use the web browser, facebook, twitter, banking app, mobile hotspot, etc.
I should probably just buy the iPhone 4 and jailbreak it, but I wanted to check for other opinions first.
I'd say it's worth getting. Especially from an accessories and support point of view.
