So let me get the first part off my chest - I am pondering switching back to android from my iPhone.
Let that sink in for a bit. Feel better now? Good, let's get some other stuff out of the way too. I love my iPhone and nothing is wrong with it, but after watching a series of videos from wicked4u2c on YouTube (if you have the time watch them all, very informative) I am reminded of some annoyances I have with ios. Not to say android is free of faults, it's certainly not.
Now, WITHOUT THIS TURNING INTO A FLAME WAR, I need some help picking out an android handset if I do decide to do this. I currently have AT&T and I'm not switching carriers. My choices I've narrowed it down to is pretty much the galaxy nexus (unlocked gsm version obviously) or the htc one x. There are things I love about both, the GN having a removable battery and a pure android/nexus experience, the one x having a gorgeous screen beats audio and lte, the GN being more "hacking" friendly (I am a huge fan and supporter of cyanogenmod), the one x having a kick ass camera, etc. I don't live in an lte area but hopefully we will get it before the end of the year.
Between these two which would you pick and why?
I use android because it feels more open and is more organized than the iOS. I enjoy having dedicated buttons for home, options, previous, and search. I can get to what I want to do faster. But in reality, they all get the job done.
But then how much do you have invested in apps on the iPhone? That could change the game.
