So, I need to figure out which phone to upgrade to at the end of the month.
I have a 2-year-old Droid X. I'm not sure which phone to get, or whether or not I should switch to an iPhone, or if I should wait for something new.
-Lots of great apps, but lacks some of the ones I'd like on iOS
-Can get a 4G phone
-Can use my EasyTether app for tethering for free.
-Lots of great apps
-No 4G option
-No easy/cheap tethering methods? (I could be wrong...)
So, should I make the jump to iOS knowing the above?
Also, if you'd recommend staying on Android, which phone should I go for? Galaxy Nexus? Galaxy S III? Something else? Is there a new Nexus coming out soon?
Depends on your provider. I _suspect_ a new nexus is due out soon, since this one is a year old, and they recently dropped the price by like, half. That said, you can get one (if youre on a GSM network) with no contract for $300 direct from google, and I've had jellybean for weeks already. Definitely my first choice for an android phone as far as whats already available.
