In addition to teaching, I've been doing freelance yardwork/landscaping, and I've been keeping track of it in an Excel spreadsheet (typing in the latest dates I came by, then bolding the date(s) I was paid for) at home on my mac.
Is there an app that I can use to keep on top of that while I'm actually out doing it? Bonus points if it's got built-in Dropbox compatibility so it stays up to date between my home machine and phone.
EDIT: Also, if you know of a better way to accomplish the same thing, I'm all ears.
Any of the office apps will do it, QuickOffice, Office Suite, DocsToGo, etc... I'm not sure on the others but QuickOffice has cloud support, including Google Drive, Drop Box, Box, Evernote, Catch, SugarSync, Huddle, and Egnyte. I've got the other 2, just don't have them installed, found I prefer QuickOffice.
