Thought I would start a thread on this as I picked it up this week for the 360 (and I was also a bit surprised that not even Chris might have considered picking this up and flipping it when he was done )

For fans of Metal Gear Solid, Dishonored, and Assassins Creed to an extent this is pretty damn good fun and was cheaper on release than most retail games.
I had only played Blood Money before this which was good fun and in the main anyone who enjoyed that should probably like this as well. They have adapted the game a bit for more impatient audiences and provided options to go in all guns blazing in the same way they did the Splinter Cell series, but it's nowhere near as bad and you have the option of playing this in exactly the same way as the older games.
It's a typical stealth game with a few unique twists (being able to wear disguises is something none of the other major stealth games have done for a while). Graphics are great, real improvement on the previous games. It's got a great dark forboding atmosphere and the incidental music at times is awesome at portraying a real darkness that you would associate with murder and assassination.
What I have enjoyed a lot so far is that there are clearly multiple ways on each level to get your assassination target. On one of the early levels they immediately tell you there are 12 different ways to get your target and it's up to you to work them out partly based on looking around and working out what is in the area and what your actions might lead to, and partly through looking at a list of accomplishments you have to get on each level.
The accomplishments so far has been what has given it real replay value for me. Going back through a level to either get a perfect assassination score, or to find a different way of killing the target, or specifically trying to find all the different disguises, has been great fun.
It also has a mode called 'Contracts' where I think you go through one of the normal story levels but then mark a target (maybe just a security guard or a civilian) to be killed in a particular way - if you achieve it - you can then challenge your friends to see if they can do it in the same way while trying to score more points doing it. I haven't tried it out yet but seems quite interesting.
So, worth picking up or at least considering if you like your 3rd person stealth games.
I've done the first 3 missions with the lady, some are pretty challenging, but normally when I manage to sneak into a building and make my way past a bunch of guards, I find I could have just walked in the front door without an outfit, or there's a vent that would have taken my 30 seconds to crawl through Overall it's pretty cool, definitely digging it.
