Got an iPad mini for Christmas and I'm interested in seeing how I can use it to make practicing more fun/practical/effective. Any suggestions? I already picked up GuitarPro and the free version of Amplitube, but I haven't had a chance to take either for a spin yet.
Not really looking for anything in particular - chord libraries, lessons, recording, amp/fx modeling, metronomes - whatever. I saw one app that lets you slow down songs to learn parts which seems really cool but it's 20 goddamn dollars. Even with some iTunes gift cards in hand that seems kind of steep for something I used to do with a free winamp plugin
Edit: Oh, I have this thing that I got for Christmas last year, so I can plug my guitar into the iPad.
the Peterson iStrobosoft app is $9.99, but is also fucking awesome. Strongly recommeneded.
Other than that, I have a Steinway Metronome app that, while it doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, has a clean interface, works well, and was free, IIRC.
