So, anyone who's been watching the Minecraft thread knows my mouse was dying - it was a Razor Naga, cool as hell, but the "click" detector was fritzing out and detecting most single clicks as doubleclicks, which made using it a pain in the ass.
So I grabbed a $20-ish Ligitech wireless the other day, and installed it last night. The process: 1.) Open the battery compartment. 2.) Remove the plastic film between the batteries and the mouse, to "power up" the mouse. 3.) Close the battery compartment. 4.) Plug in a mini USB stick. 5.) Wait five seconds, and go. All in, including opening the package, I think it took me about 45 seconds.
Man, I remember the days when even a USD flash drive required you to install a driver off a CD before you could use it.
