    +1 these are pretty badass. We just have a lamp sitting behind our tv, but a friend of ours has a full light panel (something from ikea I think). Light source behind the TV is the way to go

    I used to have one of these when I had a tv. I can't say I found it any better than using any other soft lighting.

    I used to have one of those phillips ambilight TVs. I found it quite irritating but my friends loved coming around to mine after some beers and a smoke to watch things.
