My Galaxy 2 died a couple days ago, and I just picked up an iPhone 5. I'm a little familiar with them already, and have owned Macs for years, so I'm not totally lost on it, but I'm surprised at how much trouble I'm having. I'm mostly adjusting to the new interface and everything after ~4 years of Android.
Anyway, I really dig it so far. Other than downloading what apps I could that I used on my Galaxy, any tips or suggestions to get the most out of my phone? Any cool apps I should check out?
I already disabled most things, like the location services, push notifications for most apps, the Bluetooth, etc. I'm definitely interested in cool and/or useful apps, but a big priority is getting the most I can out of my battery, so I'm keeping most things turned off at the moment. Am I missing anything important, or should I be leaving location services on?
I'd leave location services on. It just seems to make things a little easier when trying to pull up something in the vicinity, and I don't really see how it can hurt anything.
