We've been on a Cisco WAC with 12 lightweight AP's for 6 years now, and the WAC is EOL'd now. We're thinking of going for a new one, however I'd like to keep my options open to other companies that might offer a better product. We're really simplistic in that we don't do anything fancy with RADIUS servers or domain authentication. Just guest wifi, user wifi, the latter more strict with passphrases/MAC addresses, etc.
What else is out there that's actually solid? I can Google it, obviously, but I'm curious what real people are using.
As a thought, I'm currently looking at Juniper stuff.
Ruckus are what we use. Brilliant kit, and the company is Wireless first, so you can expect them to care more.
We have some Meru kit as well, which has the advantage of being able to all be on the same channel as they form a "virtual AP", meaning things like channel planning and placement of APs aren't as strict
