There are some smart comp people here. A lot smarter than me, so here goes...
We are going through a lot of our old stuff, and I have 2 older VAIO's with XP Home. One booted fine, it is partitioned so I re-installed XP Home on the C drive.
The other one is giving me major problems. I booted up. Everything's cool, working fine, has a few accounts, partitioned drive. I made a few MINOR changes (like installing a USB mouse and turning off Guest account).
Now I restarted, and it will boot Windows, then it gets to a screen where it gives me a resources error, and now it just keeps rebooting and rebooting, but never actually starting Windows. I've tried Safe Mode, and no luck. I need to get some stuff off of this one, and possibly reformat and re-install. Problem is, I don't think I have the OS re-installation disk.
