    Dis post...

    From my new MacBook Pro

Got the base model of the higher priced 15" Retina.

    Configure - Apple Store (Canada)

I've been meaning to buy this for a while, but was looking for someone to buy my current 13" 2011 MBP first.

Was going to sell it to my buddy's girlfriend, but turns out my buddy has a friend who works at Apple retail. He offered my friend 25% off a computer if he wanted it (I guess they get holiday discounts that he had no intention of using himself) so my friend got me in touch with him instead.

So end of the day I got about $600 pre-tax off this bad boy. My friend is also going to buy my 13" to give to his girlfriend for Christmas, so relatively not a lot of money spent for a considerable upgrade.

Now excuse me while I put this thing to proper use, and install Starcraft II.

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

Remember, you can only make proper use of the Retina technology if you press your eyeballs directly against the screen.

It hurts at first, but gets better as the nerves die.
