Or maybe there's a better way to do this. I think I got this working once, but it was permanent, as in if you went back to the original list, it would no longer auto update.
I want to take a list of text words that I type in, and have another area of the document auto-update (it can be in a table, or just another dummy text line).
So for example, for the sake of this being a guitar forum, let's say we want to take a list like this:
And we want another area of the document to repopulate with those entries. These can either be just a line of text, or a label or a property in a table, almost like in Excel where you just take the contents of one cell and make another cell equal those contents, but in Word instead.
I'm trying the field options, but I'm not getting anywhere.
Hm. I've never done that entirely within Word, but i have done an Excel merge before. :/
