    Dark Souls

So, They gave this game away on X Box Live and I have been chugging away at it. This has to be one of the most frustratingly good times ever had in a video game. Hard and unforgiving as fuck, but so fun you just keep coming back for more

    Anyone played or playing it?

The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

This game and it's sequel are the most maddening creations ever made. You will need a therapist when you finish it.

Yep, fantastic games. Haven't played in a while. Had a good start on Dark Souls and then had a HD crash in my PS3 and wasn't enthused about starting over. I've had other priorities lately but it's on the bucket list.

I picked this up for free on Xbox as well and yeah, it is frustrating as hell. Lots of "well, I'd better put this down for a while" moments.

One of the best series in terms of modern gaming. It's ridiculously hard, but it's extremely rewarding when you complete it... even if the games themselves makes you feel so empty when you do...

    Tough but fair.

    Also the soundtrack is amazing.

Speaking of which, I haven't played Dark Souls 2 enough. Need to do that asap.

Just downloaded it and am about an hour in.

I had it on PS3 but sold the system before I had a chance to get deep into the campaign. So far it is pretty damned good.
