Trying to do something for work and what your guys 2 pesos or so. During video calls the volume raises and drops throughout the meeting...which causes me to roll the volume up and down. Trying to find and try something that I can pretty much set it and not worry about it. My first two thoughts are a 1) compressor pedal or 2) either a 2 (but ideally a single) channel mixer. Also it's going to be in-between a computer and set of computer speakers and I'm okay with having to buy the cables or adapters to make it work. It'll be in a classified work space so anything that has to be installed on the computer is a no go along with a recording capability. Not worried about budget but if it's under $100 that would be ideal. I already looked up some of the products that would work via Sweetwater but post your ideas....you may have found something I hadn't thought of.
Your thoughts gentlemen?
What software do you use? Some call softwRe has auto limit functionality that minimizes feedback and background noise. Have you tried it with headphones on to see if the problem is still there? A compressor won't do anything really in this situation.
