I don't remember if I ever got around to playing the original X-wing, but I definitely played TIE Fighter and X-wing vs TIE Fighter. However, X-wing: Alliance was the king. After I finished the campaign (which ended with you piloting the Millennium Falcon and destroying the second Death Star, natch), I played the SHIT out of the multiplayer.
Donbot: Do you mean Rogue Squadron on N64? That was a great game too.

They have all the other JA games too.
Nobody played it, but when I was in college they came out with this FPS called Republic Commando, which is right up there with all the classic Star Wars games IMO. You led a squad of four clone troopers, and there was a really intuitive system for telling your guys to take cover in a certain spot, or snipe from a particular position, breach a door, etc. Also your melee was an Assassin's Creed style wristblade that would cause alien guts to splatter on your visor, and a second later a little laser windshield wiper thing would clean it off.
Man, that game fucking owned.
