Best device for Xfinity on Demand?

Any of you lads using a Roku/Apple TV/Fire/etc for XoD? I have a higher tier Comcast package that has HBO and a bunch of other shit on demand for web/streaming, and I never use it. Looking to grab something for my girlfriend's place that can take advantage of it - we don't watch much TV, but she has a very basic cable package that doesn't have 90% of what my account can stream.

Right now she uses a laptop, which is a little cluttered looking. I'm thinking on picking some_small_standalone_device for it, but the only one I have at home to dink around with is the Roku. I know there's an HBO Go app, but that's about it. It looks like I can stream a bunch of other shit (Discovery, MSNBC, a lot of the DIY & home/garden networks) to an iPod/Android, but I don't see much about using something like an Apple TV for them.

What are folks using these days? I could do a steam box/mac mini or something, but since it's really not going to get much use I'd rather shoot for something in the Roku price point.

    Fucking Comcast dude? Ugh

Do you own a PS4 or a ONE? I think you can stream everything through that. Xfinity has an app on XBOX I know for sure. I think you can reach all your content through there.

I can't get anything but Shitcast in my area, it sucks.

I do have a PS4, I'll have to check it out. Right now she can stream anything on my account with her laptop at her place, but something a little more snazzy would be cool.

Snag a Raspberry Pi and make an OSMC/Kodi box.

Should be able to support your current streams with some tweaks as well as countless free streams.
