On the Krogan loyalty mission, Grunt would stand directly in the open and get shit on if I didn't constantly direct him around a pole.

That aside,

- The Drell fucking owns. I'll never use him in my squad, but his plot and scenes are so damn badass.
- Going to do Garrus/Miranda's loyalty missions tonight.

Got some beast upgrades, and am almost entirely paragon. A few of the renegade scenes are fucking great though, like the one in the high rise for the Drell ("how about.. Goodbye.").

Also, where the hell do you get the scanner upgrade? I don't want to google it because I don't want any spoilers. Scanning was fun for like 12 seconds.

Talk to your team members in the Normandy... they all have various upgrades. I think the scanner is Miranda actually. Make sure you do all of them, including the med bay.

Also, if you use both sticks when scanning, it goes faster.

A completely subjective discussion of semantics? Awesome!

I've had that happen to me too!

Just finished ME2. Fantastic! And, everyone survived... common sense prevails.

Gonna have to let it settle and think through some stuff before I give my final consensus. Definitely epic and awesome though!

Hit level 60 last night/this morning (about 1am) and finished up playthrough #3. I really don't want to do #4 for the renegade achievement, and I STILL didn't get the Ally achievement despite Williams being with me on EVERY MISSION.

E-mailing deepdiscount, cancelling my order, going to Best Buy instead so I can join in all this hooplah

ally achievements are bugged on ME1. Chris was lucky and I think hit one of them. I never got one and I logged over 300 hours on that game.

Chris don't read this until you finished the game:
Spoiler
that last fight was like the ultimate terminator! Watch them steal that idea for a terminator movie in a few years.

Yeah, I was hoping I would get REALLY lucky since she was literally with me on EVERY mission and side mission (I think grand total was like 40-50 side missions, I talked to a shit load of people)

I do feel like there wasn't enough character interaction/recognition of the way things happened at the end of the game. You get one line of dialogue from each character and that's about it, and there are no eulogies if anyone dies (which I avoided.)

Also, romance-able characters you can't actually pursue romances with have really limited dialogue. I'd have loved to spend more time talking with Miranda, Jack, Jacob, and Tali. Hell, in Jade Empire every character you could romance could be attracted to either gender, and that's certainly more normal than fucking a Turian or Drell.

I've also heard that you can get busted for cheating on your old love in ME3... makes me wonder if I should play faithful my second time around (although Liara is kind of nuts in this game.)

Mordin has to be my favorite character though. Not only does he have a wide variety of "Come talk to me later" dialogue (many of which are hilarious) but he's well-developed character-wise, gives you doctor's advice if you pursue interspecies relations, and even sings Gilbert and Sullivan

Chris, don't read this till after Hawking Eta:
Spoiler
Legion is really interesting though. I'm currently running around post-final-mission trying to get to the end of the dialogue tree with him.

He also does the robot if you watch his idle animation for a while

Finished every loyalty mission and a good chunk of the N7's, and have every purchasable upgrade + all of the ship upgrades. Heading to the derelict Rreaper tomorrow, and will finish this mo'fucker this weekend from home.

Awesome game, enjoying the shit out of it. I still like ME1 better, and as far as I know you have to re-scan all the fucking planets to do a PT2 of ME2 which will turn me off from it. I'll grab level 30 but that's it.

Anyway, game is still brilliant. ME1+2 = better than 90% of Hollywood movies in terms of storyline. I'd fucking LOVE to see a badass movie mad out of these.
