I've always had good luck with Linksys stuff.

I have a Linksys and a Netgear that have been going reliably under heavy regular use for a few to several years now.

It's odd that you guys have routers fail on you so often. Is it your network's way of saying "UPGRADE ME DAMNIT!"?

I wish I had the slightest idea, but I'm with Groff, and I have friends that have the same problem. It's not that they die altogether, it's just that after a while, they just work like shit. Connections drop, signal strength goes down, DHCP won't hand out addresses - I've had all sorts of different oddball failures and no amount of resetting/flashing/etc fixes it. It's to the point now that if my router starts fucking up and it's past the two year mark, I just say fuck it and go buy a new one. :\

It's fucking odd... I could base a calender off them because they fail so reliably. I ordered a new one, gonna see how long this one lasts.

I just looked at my Newegg history. Ordered a new one every 2 years, between mid march and mid April
